He taught us about the history of the island, played the ukulele and sang for us, took us to three snorkeling spots as well as gave us a full circle tour of Bora Bora. “We did this excursion on two consecutive days, the first in the afternoon, and the second on the following morning. The first day was far more enjoyable because it was high tide, approximately 2.5 feet higher than low tide the next day, making the drift snorkel much safer. I would not recommend this excursion at low tide because of increased risk of getting scratched by coral and snorkelers damaging the coral by trampling and crashing into it.”
